Mayfield, KY - Mid-Continent University baseball coach Shawn Yarbrough has signed right-handed pitcher Adam Bell from Paducah Tilghman High School (Ky.), to an NAIA Letter of Intent to play for the Cougars beginning with the 2011 season.
Bell, currently completing his senior year at Paducah Tilghman, will play his senior season of baseball in the spring of 2010 before coming to MCU as a freshman in August, 2010. Bell, 6-1, 170 pounds, posted an 8-1 record with a 3.40 earned-run average and recorded a 2 to 1 strikeouts to walks ratio.
Yarbrough comments, "Adam is a great addition to our program and a great young talent who will add valuable depth to our pitching staff."
