Jackson, MS - The Mid-Continent University women's basketball game vs. Wesley College, scheduled for Monday,Feb. 8 in Florence, Mississippi, has been canceled due to rainy, wintery weather conditions and potential snowfall of 4 to 6 inches from Mayfield, Kentucky to Memphis, Tennessee.

     Mid-Continent has just one game scheduled this week for its men's and women's basketball teams. Mid-Continent University plays a TranSouth conference men's and women's basketball doubleheader in the Christian Life Center at Martin Methodist College in Pulaski, Tennessee, with the women's game beginning at 2:00 p.m., and the men's tip-off following at 7:00 p.m.

     MCU women's basketball team is 3-18 overall and 1-8 in TSAC games this season, while the MCU's men's team has posted a 13-10 record and is tied for third place in the conference with a 5-3 TSAC record. MCU's men have won four of their last five games and three consecutive conference games.
