Mayfield, KY - Mid-Continent University head soccer coach David Oesch has signed Jordan Ramage from Reidland High School in Paducah, Kentucky, to an NAIA Letter of Intent to play for the Cougars beginning with the 2010 fall soccer season. Ramage is the son of Greg and Carolyn Ramage of Paducah.
Ramage, a 5-8, 145 pound forward and midfielder, played for Coach David Chalke and was Reidland's team captain and was voted Most Valuable Player as a senior in 2008 and Best Midfielder in 2006 and 2007. He also was an All-District selection in 2007 and 2008 and made the All-Region team in 2008. He led Reidland to third-place finishes in the 2007 Bluegrass State Games and the 2007 Colonel Soccer Showcase and the 2008 Laker Invitational Tournament.
Coach Oesch comments, "I am extremely excited that Jordan has decided to join our program and am always glad to find local talent. He is not only a good soccer product of western Kentucky but also possesses the character I want on this team."
