Mayfield, KY - Mid-Continent University men's basketball coach and 2009-10 TSAC Coach of the Year Winston Bennett has signed Lyle Rommelman from Community Christian Academy in Paducah, Kentucky, to a letter of intent to play for the Cougars beginning with the 2010-11 season.

    A 6-0 guard, Rommelman averaged 18.9 points per game for CCA as a senior. He is the son of Dr. Monte Rommelman and Kim Rommelman.

     CCA basketball coach B.B. Kendrick comments, "Lyle deserves all the acclaim he gets because of how hard he has worked throughout his career." His future collegiate coach Winston Bennett says, "He is a tremendous athlete and has a great following and support. He is a tremendous shooter."
