Jamison Imhoff signs with MCU soccer
Mayfield, KY - Mid-Continent University head soccer coach David Oesch has signed Jamison Imhoff from New Covenant Christian School in Lansing, Michigan, to an NAIA Letter of Intent to play for the Cougars beginning with the 2010 fall soccer season. Jamison is the son of Kevin and Ruth Imhoff of Lansing, Michigan.

Imhoff, a 6-0, 160-pound striker, earned Michigan High School Athletics Association (MHSAA) All-State Division 4 first team honors and was named to the Lansing Central Michigan Dream Team as one of the best players from every division of competition in central Michigan. Imhoff ranks third in MHSAA history with 159 career goals, 12th with 63 career assists and second with 222 career points, including 51 goals and 10 assists for 61 points as a senior in 2009 and 57 goals and 14 assists as a junior in 2008. He holds the MHSAA record for most consecutive hat tricks with 3 or more goals in 9 consecutive matches during the 2008 season and once scored six goals in a match against Morrice High School in October, 2008.

Imhoff played for a New Covenant Christian team which recorded 16 consecutive shutouts in 21 matches in 2008 and allowed just eight goals that season while scoring 102.

Coach Oesch comments, "I am extremely excited that Jamison has decided to join our team. He is a very intelligent young man with a bright future in many areas of life. We look to him to help us with our offensive attack this coming season. He possesses the character on and off the field that we want for MCU's program."
