Mayfield, KY - Mid-Continent University men's basketball coach and 2009-10 TSAC Coach of the Year Winston Bennett has signed Tyler Barber, a 6-0 shooting guard from Obion County Central High School in Troy, Tennessee, to a letter of intent to play for the Cougars beginning with the 2010-11 season.
 
    The son of Daryl Barber and Kim Eckardt, Tyler Barber was named to the All-District 13-AA team as a junior and senior. Barber averaged 21 points per game as a senior and 10.6 points as a junior with a high game of 24 points with 8 three-pointers vs. Dyer County High School in February, 2009.
