     Coached by Amy Breckel, Futrell averaged 7.0 points a game and led the Lady Wildcats with 60 assists and 65 steals as the only senior on the Trigg County squad. A point guard in high school, she is projected to be a shooting guard for Mid-Continent. She missed her sophomore season due to injury and played through injuries during her junior and senior seasons.

     She attended an open tryout at Mid-Continent and impressed Coach Nicley. Regarding Futrell's signing, Nicley commented, "I am really excited to have Audrey come and be part of our program. I have high expectations for her, and I know she'll be a hard worker. With a couple of point guards coming into our program, I look for her to be more of a shooter.
