Holli Daily signs letter of intent to play for MCU.
Mayfield, KY - Mid-Continent University women's basketball coach Courtney Nicley has signed 5-4 guard Holli Daily from Roane State Community College (Tenn.) to a letter of intent to play basketball for the Cougars beginning with the 2010-11 season.  Daily, the daughter of Tammy Daily and the late Richard Daily, is a 2008 graduate of Jackson County High School in Gainesboro, Tennessee where she played for the 2008 Class A Tennessee state championship team.

Daily also has played the last two seasons for Roane State Community College, averaging 8.96 points and 3.0 rebounds in 27 games as a freshman and 6.68 points and 3.32 rebounds in 25 games as a sophomore last season. She totaled 409 career points, 25 three-point field goals, 164 rebounds, 157 assists and 77 steals and helped Roane State to 37 wins in 54 games during her Daily's two seasons.

Coach Nicley comments about Daily's signing, "Holli will bring leadership and aggressiveness to our program. She plays either of the two guard positions, sees the floor well and pushes the ball."
