Mayfield, KY - Mid-Continent University men's soccer coach David Oesch has signed forward Matt Kreutzer (pictured on the right) from Heath High School in Paducah, Kentucky to a letter of intent to play for the Cougars beginning with the upcoming 2010-11 season.

Kreutzer, 5-10, 170, attended the University of Kentucky in Lexington in 2009-10 but did not play soccer and has four years of athletics eligibility remaining. He scored 72 goals and 65 assists during his Heath High School career and was voted his team's Most Valuable Player and All-State first team as a junior and senior in 2008 and 2009 and Best in the West in 2009.  Kreutzer won Best Offensive Player honors for the Super Clubs National team in 2009.

"We are very pleased to have Matt join our team for this upcoming season," says Coach Oesch. "We are always looking for the best local talent, and Matt is exactly that. We hope that we can continue to recruit the best players in western Kentucky."
