MAYFIELD, Ky. -- The Saturday, August 21 Mid-Continent University men's soccer exhibition match against an MCU alumni all-star team has been canceled due to rain and thunderstorms in the Graves County area.

     Coached by David Oesch, who begins his first season at MCU, the Cougars open their 2010 men's soccer season officially against the NAIA's number 19-ranked team, William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Friday, August 27, at 7:00 p.m., and competes against 16th-ranked University of Texas-Brownsville, Saturday, August 28, at 3:00 p.m., at William Carey University.
