A junior from Belgrade, Serbia, Sinisa attended Technical School in Belgrade prior to coming to Mid-Continent University.  He has played in 35 games in two seasons for the Cougars and has scored 325 points and gathered 176 rebounds so far in his career.  As a sophomore in 2007-08, Korkut played in 21 games, starting 13, and averaged 8.7 points and 5.4 rebounds with 13 assists, 13 steals, and 4 blocked shots.  He scored double figures in 7 games, including 28 points against Lyon in the TSAC Tournament and 23 against Alice Lloyd, and also had highs of 13 rebounds vs. Missouri Baptist and 12 rebounds against West Virginia Tech.

As a freshman in 2006-07, Korkut scored a double double of 12 points and 13 rebounds against Missouri Baptist, Nov. 17, 2006, and scored 10 or more points in 9 games, including 18 against Alice Lloyd and Ohio Christian and 16 against Bacone and Freewill Baptist..  He averaged 10.1 points and 4.4 rebounds with 10 blocked shots that season.
