A junior from Trinidad and Tobago, Ansil attended Millersburg Military Institute before coming to Mid-Continent University in 2006.  Williams earned Most Improved Player and Best Attitude honors in high school.

Last season, Williams started 16 games and played in 25 and averaged 4.0 points and 2.4 rebounds per game and blocked 16 shots and stole the ball 17 times.  He scored in double figures in 3 games, including a season high 11 points in a TSAC game against Cumberland, Jan. 17, 2008.  His rebounding high was 7 against Lambuth in the TSAC Tournament, March 6.

In his first season at MCU, Williams averaged 5.1 points and 4.6 rebounds with 20 assists, 8 blocked shots, and 14 steals in 14 games.  He scored in double figures 3 times, including 16 points against Alice Lloyd and recorded a double double with 11 points and 10 rebounds against Boyce College.
