Major:  Psychology.  Birthdate:  December 2.  Daughter of:  Connell and Carla Butler.

Brittany plays both volleyball and basketball for Mid-Continent University.  During the 2007-08 basketball season, Butler averaged 4.3 points and 2.3 rebounds per game and had 26 assists and 32 steals.  Butler leads the 2008 MCU volleyball team in defensive digs and is third in kills.

Brittany transferred to MCU after playing two seasons of basketball at Shawnee Community College in Ullin, Illinois, where she averaged 7.1 points and 2.8 rebounds in 2006-07, playing alongside current teammate April Carter.  She also contributed 65 assists and 15 three-point field goals.

In high school, Brittany played volleyball for Hebron High School in Carrollton, Texas, helping her team to the 2004-05 Texas state championship and was her team's top defensive player.  She also was named to the All-Conference second team.  Off the court, Brittany played violin in Hebron's symphonic orchestra.
