
Rapert also begins her fourth season of MCU softball and enters the 2010 softball season with 84 hits in 355 career at-bats (.237), with 29 RBI, 41 runs scored with 7 doubles, 3 triples, one home run, and 11 stolen bases in 118 career games. Rapert has started 109 consecutive games over the last two seasons.
As a senior softball player at Gosnell HS, Amber recorded the highest batting average on the team and earned selection to the All-Conference team and to the junior All-Star team. She also appears in Who's Who among High School Athletes.
Besides her sports participation in high school, Rapert served as president of Mu Alpha Theta, and was a member of the National Honor Society, Science Club, Physics Club, French Club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and was active in drama productions newspaper staff, and the Quiz Bowl team. She also was selected as a Homecoming princess.
