NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The TranSouth Athletic Conference announced their final women's basketball all-conference honors on Tuesday, and the Mid-Continent University Cougars had three players honored by the Conference in the TranSouth's final season. Stephanie Malone earned first team All-TranSouth honors, while Natalie Taylor and Jaylin Jones earning a place on the All-Freshman team.
Malone earns the honor for the second straight season, and she was named to an All-TranSouth team for the third time overall, as she earned a place on the second team as a freshmanin 2010-11. She finished the season with an average of 17.5 points per game - a career best for the junior from Louisville, Ky. She also averaged 9.3 rebounds per contest, and 2.2 steals per game - all three finishing in the top two spots in the TranSouth individual races. On the season, she surpassed the 1,000 career point mark, and she has positioned herself to make a run at the 1,000 mark in career rebounds as well by finishing the season with 772 career boards.
 
Taylor and Jones were both integral parts of the Mid-Continent lineup as freshmen, with each making her presence felt in a lineup that saw six freshman play for the Cougars - five of whom saw significant minutes for the Cougars. Jones and Taylor each contributed at least 161 points to the Mid-Continent effort on the year, with the two combining for 93 assists on the year as well.
