Reggie is a freshman point guard who comes to Mid-Continent University from Brighton, Tennessee where he graduated from Brighton High School in 2010.

High School: Coached by Wesley Miller at Brighton High School, Reggie made the District 13-Class 3A All-Tournament team as a junior in 2008-09 and All-District 13 team as a senior in 2009-10. He also was an All-Region nominee last season, and was nominee for the "Best of the Preps" team. Elkins played at the United States Junior Nationals in Columbus, Ohio during summer of 2010. "Reggie is a fearless penetrator and tenacious defender, " according to MCU coach Winston Bennett.
